The Cossack Squat

I recently did an entire podcast on the history of the Cossack Squat, a squat variation that comes with a lot of rules and an unusual name. But, it turns out, it didn’t always have all of those rules.

Learning about why the Cossack Squat is called the Cossack Squat led to a lot of questions, like why the move is traditionally taught with the heel down instead of the heel up? And what are we actually trying to do with the move?
