What if your handstand practice felt grounded instead of forced?
What if you could build balance, strength, and confidence—by listening to your body instead of overriding it?
Before you ever try to kick up to the wall, it helps to understand what's actually happening when you shift your weight from your feet to your hands. Most handstand instruction jumps straight to shapes and drills without explaining why they work—so people practice hard, get frustrated, and assume they're just not "the type" who can do this.
Getting Your First Handstand is a free guide that walks you through the biomechanics and nervous system principles behind a sustainable handstand practice—how your hands anchor, how your forearms and shoulders organize, how your torso and pelvis learn to trust the position—with nine short videos showing you each piece in your own body. It's the foundation Root to Rise builds on.
